Rocky Mountain Snow Guards equips Gold Roofing in Northern Colorado with Winning Game Plan for a Successful Overall Roofing Plan
For almost 30 years Gold Roofing, Inc. out of Loveland, CO has installed roofs all over northern Colorado. In a given year, the dedicated team has been known to install 400+ roofs, all with the determination that roofing should be a hassle-free experience for the customer. Tanner Goldsberry, Service Technician Manager for Gold Roofing, Inc. shares what it's like to install roofs from the flats of Fort Morgan to the rocky terrain of Grand Lake.
Naturally we need snow retention systems in this area of the country. We used plastic or metal snow blocks when we first started our business almost three decades ago. They were what we could find in the marketplace back then. However, within the last 10 years we've switched to snow rail systems. They withstand the UV rays, volatile weather patterns and the extreme snow loads we regularly see.
Shingle roofs are popular in our area because the price point is unmatched. However, we regularly install standing seam, pro panel and corrugated metal roofing systems. When homeowners or builders decide to install a metal roof, we always recommend a system through Rocky Mountain Snow Guards.
We recently made the switch from the S-5! ColorGard® bar system to the Blizzard II fence-style system for most of our metal roofs. Both systems work incredibly well, but we're really impressed with the qualities and strength of the Blizzard II and that it can be powder coated.
In Estes Park, Colorado we recently completed a 76-square shake roof tear off to a new 1-1/2" nail strip standing seam metal roof. Due to the sheer amount of slopes, pitch of the roof, extreme weather and almost 700 linear feet of new powder coated Blizzard Heavy Duty II 2-pipe fence-style snow retention, this proved one of the most challenging systems we've ever installed. We consider it our "Christmas Miracle" project because is was completed exactly one week before Christmas. This is truly a challenging project we'll never forget.
On any project that has more than two slopes or a pitch factor higher than 4/12, we always ask for a free snow retention plan with corresponding estimate from Rocky Mountain Snow Guards. Your expertise is unmatched. We understand the importance of a watertight roofing system, but we'll always leave the snow retention plan to the pros. RMSG provides us with the winning game plan for a successful overall roofing plan.
We have tested other snow retention products in the past. The ease of use, customizability, options available and exemplary quality control of the Rocky Mountain Snow Guards' products keep us coming back. We solely use the S-5! ColorGard® bar and Blizzard II 2-pipe systems because they're unmatched and can withstand the heavy snow loads we see in Colorado. Hands down, Rocky Mountain Snow Guards has the best snow retention systems available in the marketplace.
